AIE News
As you all know, our approach to officer roles is based around where we need help in keeping the community running. With all the great stuff happening across our divisions and the continued outreach of AIE in content and streaming, we’ve asked @Tabbytha (she/her) to step in to expand on the support she already provides across many of our games and elsewhere. The AIE Council is a small group of officers tasked with working alongside the greater Officer Community to set baseline operating guidelines for the guild, help maintain the AIE guild culture, help develop guild leadership, and provide overall planning guidance in the rare instances where needed at a guild-wide level.
The current council is made up of some active members and some founding emeritus members including: Scott, Veronica, Xanar, Randy, Stigg, Lanctharus, Ashayo, Hoots, Tetsemi, Sema and Max. In order to grow our capabilities a bit as the guild evolves we’ve decided to expand and bring on a new council member to help out. Please join us in welcoming Dankina to the council!

NOMADS
New World
There is an open beta announced for September 9th through September 12th for people who have not yet had the opportunity to check out the game but are interested in seeing what the hype is about.
Game is currently scheduled to launch on September 28th and AIE is planning on a contingent of members playing.
Dual Universe
The game just celebrated its one year anniversary of being in Beta. And things have changed a lot in the past 12 months. New systems have been added into the game: schematics for building parts, mission systems to allow players to create work orders that others can fulfill and get paid, updated planet graphics, re-balancing of various ship parts, and most recently mineable asteroids spawning in space.
AIE has kept busy slowly building up infrastructure to support organization members in building whatever ships and structures they can imagine.
No Man Sky
No Man’s Sky will be releasing an update soon called Frontiers. It’s expected to be out as soon as next week but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
Destiny 2

WoW
Gustytail will be doing Guild runs of Trial of Style mini holiday. To make things interesting, Gusty will challenge participants to select transmog outfits based on Pokemon for the fashion competition. Guild runs this week, Friday at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pac for Alliance, Sat 6pm Eastern/3pm Pac for Horde.
WoW Classic
Serpentshrine Cavern (SSC) and The Eye (TK?) new raid tiers going live mid September.
Dungeon runs on Sunday and Wednesday nights from 9-11.
SWTOR
In Swtor, things are galloping along toward the new expansion, Legacy of the Sith. The public test server has been available several times with class changes to be experienced and tested. The new expansion will have a new Operation, new flashpoint, 5 new character levels, new story, and infrastructure and graphical improvements.
Recently, we had a pet acquisition night during MFN. BC led us around the galaxy to get various pets. Some required mysterious items, some had to be coaxed out of hiding with delicious bits of liver, and some were revealed by Czerka Corporation emails. If you ever dreamed of having a miniature tauntaun as a pet, we know where you can find one.
In other guild news, we are thinking of streamlining our Friday night schedule to give a little more time in between events. We might test out doing something on a Saturday night here in there as well. Stay tuned for more news. Even in a galaxy far, far, away, there are still only 7 days in a week apparently.
ESO
We spent last week in Craglorn and Wrothgar working on the Early Adventures Celebration event
Also, clearing zones of Skyshards and World Bosses, clearing Public dungeons, and of course, being lead off cliffs by Dankinia
Next week’s MFN (Sept 3rd) will be spent in Craglorn, Wrothgar, and maybe even Imperial city for the Early Adventures celebration
MFN’s activities happen each week and involve either zone clears, daily dungeon runs, and/or public dungeon clears.
The Early Adventures celebration runs through Tuesday September 7th at 10am EST. Event tickets can be obtained, double loot boxes for daily rewards which have a chance to obtain crafting mats, style pages, and motifs.
The Walking Flame DLC and update 31 is now available on PC and will be on consoles on September 8th. Walking Flame DLC has 2 new dungeons and Update 31 includes assorted bug fixes, some balance changes, and performance improvements.
FFXIV
The game is currently celebrating it’s 8th anniversary with The Rising event, lasting through 9 Sep.

Every world server in the Crystal Data Center now has the preferred status “Road to 70” buff that grants +100% XP buff for all activities. Now is the time to make a new character and join the fun before the Endwalker expansion launches on 22 Nov.
The Free Company continues to grow (Alea Iacta Est on the Crystal Data Center, Goblin World server) with total membership of 340. The past few weeks have seen many new players joining in on the fun and participating in the public discord channel. Make sure to look at the pinned topics in any of AIE game division channels. In FFXIV’s pinned topics you’ll find links to the first issue of the “AIE Community Roundup” newsletter put together by Zoot, information how to receive invites to the FC, everyone’s favorite: spreadsheets, and other resourceful links.
The membership has put together a BLU (Blue Mage) Person Group that has been regularly helping each other acquire spells for this special job.
The Fishing Club has once again taken to the Oceans through regular trips to acquire all those lovely hi-cordials, special minions and mounts. You can typically find someone to party with when the event runs every two hours, and that’s the best way to maximize your score for the trip.
Maps Night continues to be a thing, every Saturday at 9:30PM EDT. Bring all the maps and reap the rare rewards including explosive showers of gil.

Fleet is almost at a Tier IV colony, it is counting down and nearing done.
GW2
Living world Season 4, Episode one is free this week. Next week will be episode 2, then 3, 4..until we are done.
Next beta weekend is Sept 21st. They already teased an image for the new elite spec. Maybe Greatsword Revenant, but could be anything.
Festival of the Four Winds starts on Tuesday. Usually fun stuff to do for these.
DirectX 11 Beta is also on Sept 21st. Along with the new WVW system of Alliances.
Still in the Middle of the Seasons of Dragons Meta Event, which is why the living world seasons are free. After we finish this week, if you have been keeping up with the bonus events, you will get a 32 slot bag.
LOTRO
Saturday Night Lotro now typically includes Maellung streaming! Catch the links in Discord when the events go live.
On Wednesday Mines of Moria opens up on the Shadowfax server. In the next couple weeks the new upcoming brawler class will be testable on Bullroarer. Labor Day weekend will bring us a VIP event.
