Nick and Marcus sit down with Matt Pucevich and Eric Musco from Bioware’s Star Wars: The Old Republic development team. In the interview the guys get some EXCLUSIVE insight into the first Operation boss on Dxun as well as some planned changes to Operations mechanics in the future.
WoW Alliance team is still recruiting. We take cross-realm. Also, we finally got into Eternal Palace and killed 3 bosses!!!
Noob Raid also did Eternal Palace and took down the first 3 bosses.
We are gearing up for WoW Classic, and the officer teams wants to make sure the initial plans are known for the guild. We are going to aim for being on Pagle (PVE East Coast) along with a number of other podcast communities, like CTR, The Starting Zone, World of Warcast, Lagging Balls, and iToons, just to name a few. The goal will be to have AIE focused on the Horde side but be able to coordinate activities with the other guilds and build a bigger community overall.
Nevermore has been working hard at getting plans together for gathering the initial money needed to buy the guild character (10s) as well as the 9 signatures. We will also be taking donations for a guild tabard (10 g) after we get the guild signed and started, but please don’t forget your own essentials of buying spell ranks and things. She will have a character parked in Orgrimmar to take donations, as mailing things costs 30 copper, which defeats the whole point.
For launch day, we’ll be on AIE Discord in either the WoW voice channel or one of the Social Channels, so make sure to join us, even if it’s just to listen in!
Onslaught is coming and the new maximum character level will increase to 70. If you’d like to jump in near the top, you can purchase character tokens for level 60 or 70. The available tokens all work a bit differently to achieve different ends, so do your research if you want to take this option! Or jump into discord and discuss.
The next phase of the public test server will be up soon. You can go there to test out the new abilities coming in the expansion, as well as the new materials storage system.
Also, SWTOR’s Free to Play offering just got sweeter, so if you felt it was too limiting before, it might be worth checking out again.
We are in the middle of a double xp event that is running for another couple of weeks. It’s a great time to get that last straggler to level 70 before Onslaught.
There is a possibility that there will be a sale on character renames and character transfers in the weeks leading up to Onslaught as well.
This month’s MEGA will be on Friday, August 23rd, at 9PM Eastern. We will be doing the Fleet Datacron, famous for its requirement of coordination and death defying acts of bravery. Ok, well, coordination, anyway. And there will be plenty of Star Wars trivia
Eden ‘Normal’ raid clears continue.
Summer of Love happened, the FC met at the FC house and participated in the community wide remembrance event. The FC basement may or not may still smell like ARR champagne.

The Orsinium Celebration Event is running now until Monday August 19th at 10am est. During the event you get double crafting mats from harvesting crafting nodes, double rewards from the maelstrom Arena on both Vet and Normal difficulty, and double the reward boxes from the daily quests. The next DLC for the Season of the Dragon is called Scalebreaker and will be out on Monday August 12th on PC/Mac and August 27th for consoles. It is free for ESO plus members or can be purchased from the in-game Crown store.
New Space, with new PVE and PVP opportunities! War still going on, I think. (I am more out of the loop than normal because I am migrating everything to a new PC). We have more of a Focus on Alliance level stuff at this point. On that front, Members are not allowed to file for coalition SRP anymore, all requests must be made on the Blades of Grass forum (if you don’t know the link ask in AIEU Discord)(if you are not in AIEU Discord that link should be pinned in the Eve embassy channel on the AIE discord)(if you aren’t in that discord the link is https://aie-guild.info/discord
. Fly Dangerously!
Monday MFNs and they going after bigger and badder world bosses like Tequatl, a bigger dragon than the one we took on during SoL!
Starting on the 17th during SNL (MFN) we will be starting the process of acquiring the “Cloak of the Cluck”. It will take at least a few weeks to get it. It only requires you to be out of the intro. If anyone needs help or has questions let me know.
Tetsemi- And with that, let’s get back to Marcus and find out what’s going on in the AIE Community.
In AIE fashion its all about the community. The guild really focuses on in game events and meet ups IRL. to keep us a family. For me it was max and semas show that brought me to the guild and fell in love with it.
A big event is remembrance day as this show has talked about many times.
In because of it We started a year ago with a monthly event in swtor called MEGA. due to that event we have found ourselves linking with lots of people/ other guilds in because of that and the podcasts. The swtor guild has had a ton of new members. Also We are currently hoping to implement this across all the games. I personally feel like once you get a taste of aie. Youll get hooked like me and mal did.. Mal is a new com officer. Here is his story….
I will leave it up to you if you want to mention it. But here is a true story of community of AIE effect. I was a casual AIE member until listening to the AIE podcast and hearing Abovan (I think) issue a challenge to reach out and group up with someone in game. I took that challenge and loved it. It was so much fun I kept doing it to the point that I am on 2 ops teams co leader of one of them. Because of what you did with MEGA and the success of that I decided to try that in lotro eventually going every week. Because of all that I am a community officer. I now lean on the community to help me through stuff I have to deal with because of things in RL past. It is a family. We should not be afraid or nervous to join in stuff that is going on in the community. Even if it is slightly uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for accepting of a challenge from a community officer I wouldn’t have gotten all of what this family has to offer.
And that’s our show for tonight. While the chatroom begins suggesting show titles, we want to thank Marcus for joining us. And don’t forget, after the show is the AIE podcast stream, this week they are doing:
