SWTOR
The big news this week was that SWTOR is now on Steam! The original standalone SWTOR launcher still works and there is no pressure to switch, but many guildies switched over on the first day the Steam version was available with no problems. And the additional visibility for the game on Steam has been great. In the future there will be Steam achievements and there is other Steam stuff in the works.
Guildies are looking forward to the return of swoop racing this coming Tuesday. Several people will be maxing out their rep too, which will enable them to play through the last installment of the swoop race story. There is rep and currency to earn from three factions, which you can then use to buy speeders, decorations, and whatnot.
BCavanan has updated the SWTOR Conquest Calculator for the latest conquest updates from patch 6.1.2. He has a post on Reddit that links to his Google Documents spreadsheet.

(I’m not completely sure what to say about SoL, so here is a placeholder) During the week of Summer of Love, MFN (or MEGA or MM Friday) will be a special SoL Version, so stay tuned!
ESO
On Friday August 7th the members of AIE will be doing a non-combat event for Summer of Love during our normal MFN time slot. House decorating is something that a lot of our members (not me) excel at and we will be doing a tour to see the fantastic décor our guild members have come up with for the in-game houses their characters call home. Anyone who wants to can open their home for us to visit and we will be doing the tours as a group. I promise we won’t destroy the furniture, graffiti the walls, or leave trash all over the place, but I can’t promise I won’t find something for my character to jump off that might result in a ghost wandering around for a short while.
Currently the Summerset event is underway until Tuesday, August 4th at 10am EST. During this event you will receive extra loot from all of the daily quest rewards, resources nodes and Psijic Portals, and the world and delve bosses. Also the first time you complete a Geyser, delve, or world boss daily each day you will get 3 event tickets and a Glorious Summerset coffer in addition to the regular rewards. As usual, the event tickets can only be earned once per account. The reward boxes contain set items, crafting mats, furnishing recipes, and pages for a brand new Snowhawk mage outfit style. You can only get one Glorious Summerset coffer a day, but there is no limit to the common Summerset Coffers you can earn during the event. The Indrik feathers as well as new berries are being sold in the Impresario’s shop so if you are a mount collector, the event tickets can be used to purchase those and if you are not a mount collector, there are a lot of new furniture options for sale as well.
FFXIV
We’ll be doing map nights at the usual time on august 8th, but we’ll be doing level 70 maps.
Last night was a rather successful run for the treasure hunters, with several end runs and lots of ‘skittles’ to be had, much to Kelseer’s chagrin.
The upcoming patch (Aug. 11), which will complete the story of Shadowbringers; the expansion of the free trial from up to level 35 to up to level 60, including the Heavensward expansion; and the 50% off sale on the Square Enix and Playstation stores (get the complete game, including Shadowbringers, for $30!) until August 17.

STO
We got Tier 3 Research for the Spire and Tier 2 for the Colony. It was an amazing effort by everyone. That unlocked the Vulnerability Locator Tactical Console. The Embassy Diplomacy III and Colony Renewable Energy III are the next projects the Fleet will focus on. This will unlock more consoles to use on fleet member’s ships. The current event ends on 30 July. If you still need tokens to get the Red Angel suit, you need to hurry. Risa starts on August 4th. Get your board shorts and hover packs ready. A New ship that was designed by environment artist Nick Duguid is one of the rewards. This week’s Fleet Night is off because of RL. Next week Dent will be starting up episodes that are not part of the regular seasons.

LOTRO
Servers are back up and seem to be running ok after data center issues. New update will be coming either this week or next week that will include Rohan Housing. Standing Stone Games is planning on giving out a thank you gift for VIPs and one for the others for being patient (ish) during the issues to be announced this week. We are planning on some fun stuff during SoL so stay tuned to later in the show for more details.
