WoW
AIE Adopt-A-Pet https://aie-guild.org/blog/2020/05/aie-adopt-a-pet/

We are still looking for volunteers to help. They can contact either Syreyne or Gusty.

Noob Raid is still going strong and running with two groups.

WoW Virtus (Alliance) continues to welcome new members daily (392 characters). Hell Froze Over raid team is 9/12 in Ny’alotha Normal. They had 26 people in raid They have been extending lockout on the first 3 bosses, downed Il’gynoth on the second attempt, and have one-shot Ra-den. They are starting discussion of creating a second raid team . So, whatever class you play, you are welcome to come join. June raid calendar invites are out.

WoW – Virtus (alliance). June 6th, we are doing Battle of Dazar’alor (Normal) for the guild achievement at 12pm ET. As always we welcome cross-realm and no ilvl requirements for this run.

WoW Classic
In WoW Classic news, congratulations to Chrisi and Deadkrumpet, who were both recently promoted to the greeter role of Salutator!

Both have been welcoming to new members, offering general assistance, and are encouraging our higher level AIE guildies to get attuned and ready for raiding with our friends in United Orgrimmar.

Together Chrisi and Deadkrumpet are shining examples of what it means to be part of Alea Iacta Est!

SWTOR
There has been a new event up on the PTS involving swoop racing as well as some new features added to the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife Event. The Swoop Rally event is targeted for sometime in June and the Nightlife Event is set for “later this summer”. Once the Swoop Rally event hits, it will probably be up for a week. The duration of the Nightlife Event is unknown and will be both way longer and way shorter than necessary.

Double XP continues until mid-June. If there is an extension in the works, we have not heard about it yet.

MEGA in May was a datacron crawl and Marcus managed to lead us to a ton of datacrons in one evening. June Mega will be in conjunction with “AIE’s Where to Start Event”

MFN visited Scum and Villainy this week, which is one of the game’s longest operations. We cleared 4 bosses and now have 2 left. Since we don’t have lockout extensions, BC will organize a small group to go in early on the day we plan to go back to clear a couple bosses so that the MFN group can knock out the rest and get achievements for the last two bosses.

Friday night MM runs have happened on two Friday nights so far for people to work on the Aratech Ice speeder achievement. This will continue to run every two weeks or so until people all get their speeders and will then continue on the Pub side if there is interest for that.

Grats to our newest Operations team, WtC-? (Where’s the Cantina?), which now has a full roster. They meet on Monday nights on the pub side.

ESO
Greymoor launched on Tuesday, May 26th and the opening cinematic was really good. No spoilers, but the cinematic tied nicely into the new tutorial you go through after character creation. There were a few hiccups on launch day, which was to be expected but for the most part it went fairly well in my opinion. The new zone looks great and the new Antiquities system is fun and rewarding.

For next Friday’s MFN, we plan to do a zone clear in the overland area Western Skyrim. We will grab the Skyshards, clear the delves and public dungeons, kill the world bosses, and deal with a ritual site or two as a group. The following week we will do the same in Blackreach as well as go back to the overland area to get anything we might not have had time for the following week.

FFXIV
The Final Fantasy XIV Crew is busy as always, always welcoming new and returning members to the FC, as well as providing tons of content for the existing members, either they are leveling their first job or running end game content.

We currently have 2 in-game events happening at this time.

The first is the Moogle Treasure Trove. This event focuses on group content, such as MSQ dungeons, 24-player raids required for the current relic weapon, and some other seldom queued events like Rival Wings. Running this content will reward you with the normal rewards plus irregular tomestones that can be used to purchase mounts, orchestral rolls, minions, and limited time cosmetic gear. Each major city has an “Itinerant Moogle” to sell you these items. This event will run until the launch of Patch 5.3.

The other event is the FFXI crossover event, The Maiden’s Rhapsody. This story based event will follow the adventures of an oddly dressed adventurer. Rewards for this event is a cosmetic set that resembles a gear set from FFXI. This event will run from now to June 22nd.

In game, we still have the many, many weekly events. The Mandatory Fun Nights are Monday at 11pm EST, Wednesday night at 9:00pm EST. The Tuesday night “Cool and Casual” raid night, which is normally an all-request legacy raid night, happens on Tuesday at 9:30pm EST. If you have a raid request to submit, please let an FFXIV officer know prior to the raid.

Thursday is our raid team’s raid night, “Noobs on Demand” or NOD. We have started to dip our toes into the savage and extreme content. There are still slots available for the raid team and interested parties can speak with a FFXIV officer for more details. Note that the raid team is separate from AIE, but it just so happens that most of the FFXIV officers are on this team.

Thank you to all of the current FFXIV players in AIE. We would not have been able to create this great community without all of you, so thank you! So, thank you, stay safe, and remember to stretch before displaying your epic /nod skills.

EVE
lil bit of PewPew going on in Vale of the silent between random enemies. Nothing that involves big block battles, but good pixel erasing fun between different alliances. Involves mostly EU and late USTZ battles so far with random AU timezone skirmishes

STO
MFN is picking up. We have had a good turnout the last few weeks.

We are currently in the middle of a Red Alert week. All the Red Alerts are available to run. If you do it 5 times, a reward of a universal upgrade token will be yours.

The next event campaign will be starting next week, The No Win Scenario. By completing this event daily, you can work towards receiving a T6 ship token or 1000 Lobi Crystals.
LLAP

GW2
Dejara has been and continues to run MFN on most Monday nights.

GW2
Did you miss the last monster play event? Want a reason to jump back into monster play with maybe an old or new monster? You are in luck. Monster play event is coming back to SNL June 13 at the same special time as last the last one 9-11 eastern (8-10 Max time). SSG also extended the all open questing through August. As usual stay tuned to #lotro for more upcoming events.

And with that, we have some round table questions!
