We have a new guildie of the moment! Everyone give three cheers to Zethran of Swtor aka Cosmic Debris on the forums! This player is an awesome addition to AIE and many great things were said about her including:

She is right on top of SWTOR info as soon as it drops, and then posts it to the EL forums for the rest of us. Typically, if I hear there is new SWTOR news, I’ll check the forums and see she has already posted it.

She is that rare bird that is knowledgeable and able to communicate calmly and well with anyone of any level of ability. She is a gem.

Her knowledge of the game is unsurpassed among many of her peers and yet she’s humble enough to really be lovable.

Steam Summer Sale is on! That’s right, if you can get the store to load there are amazing deals going on right now! Such as…well to be honest, I have no idea, because I can’t get the store to load! If you’re a big Final Fantasy Fan, you might be interested to know there’s a groundswell of support growing in the Imperium Ludi forums for an AIE expedition into the upcoming Final Fantasy 14 MMO. If you’re up to join the fun, post in the forums and head to the FFXIV site to sign up for the beta. There’s also another GERP expedition team heading into Neverwinter Nights. If you want to jump on that train, post in their thread in the forums
Last month, StupidGenius held a training class on how to make loads of money in EVE. It went so well that he’s offering to do it again. If you’re a poor space pilot looking to hit it rich, see Stu’s post in the forums to help him set the time for the next class. And just for The AIE Podcast listeners, Stu’s offering a discount – half off his normal price for the class for anyone who tells him the secret passphase, “Alludra is Awesome”. You heard us talk about it the last time the The Secret World gang was on. Yesterday, TSW Issue 7 “A Dream To Kill” was released to members. Free-to-play players will get it tomorrow. Issue #7 includes an all-new storyline in Transylvania involving a huge monster, and will have players explore hidden Orochi bases; meet an Orochi deserter; use the new flamethrower auxiliary weapon; and ride snowmobiles. At the end of A Dream to Kill players willl finally learn a key part of The Secret World’s mysterious story, leading up to Tokyo – the new zone expected in a future update.
Anyone who follows the AIE Podcast knows I’m always whining about all the groups in California, Arizona, etc., always having great meetups. Well apparently AIE member Jsinpriestly got tired of listening to me whine, and forwarded me a link to King Con, a fledgling board game convention trying to get off the ground in Central Georgia. It might be an interesting place for us Southern AIE members to get together. For more information, see my post in the forums
