Our guild remembrance for Vandiclaw will be taking place this saturday October 13th at 2pm server. Remember to have your horde balloon ready, for a celebration of a great guildie’s life. More details can be found in the forums.
We have an AIE Gaming Community town hall scheduled for Friday October 26th at 10pm EST! What’s a town hall? Well it’s sort of a community wide update! Do you have questions about how things are going? Do you want to know what the various games are doing with all these expansions? Or do you just want to know who is in charge? Well the Town hall is a great place to go for all this and more!
For all you folks romping around in Pandaland, hit level 90 and looking to try to figure out Tiller’s Rep? Our intrepid reporter Alludra, found a handy guide that Nessa put together! Nessa, sadly isn’t a guildie (At least that we know of!), but she is someone who can help us out! Thank you Nessa, wherever you are!
We know there are a ton of games out there lately to play, but TF2 is still a guild favorite. Been enjoying the Mann vs Machine recent DLC? Well a new update just dropped! New Matchmaking types, new Loot as well as new tours!
The parties in Orgrimmar could not hope to contain Salem’s Beats! He’s extended it to make for a regular weekly thing. Check out the forum post for details. He typically plays his choice first hour, then has a handy form for taking requests!
With the forthwith upcoming hither release of Black ops 2 AIE steam wonders if there are there enough players that would be interested in a private AIE server? Share your thoughts on the AIE steam forums
Steam group forums? What’s that? Steam in their latest software release made huge changes to the Community section. A Facebook like feed to keep up with your friends and a completely revamped group page. If you haven’t seen it, shame on you and your next of kin.

Lords of Light Operation Team(s) (that’s raiding for the non-SWTOR community)
Lords of light is my ops group that runs on the Republic and Imperial side.
We run on Sunday and Wednesday nights
the Republic side we are doing Explosive Conflict 8 man hard mode. Once we have taken down Explosive conflict Hard Mode. We will progress into Terror from Beyond Hard Mode.
Imp side Lord of Lights is doing 8 man Story Mode Terror from Beyond. Once we have taken that down we will progress straight into Hard Mode Explosive Conflict
We were at one time running just on the Republic side, but I want a way to make it where the op team did not get bored doing content over and over.
plus it lets us help out on the Imp side if a ops team needs bodies.
We also use TurnTable in all of our runs which helps to mix up the ops feel.
Talk about AIE in SWTOR
2 Factions, both great. Both provide AIE experiences in different ways.
Empire – Larger group.
Republic – Smaller, more intimate group
Both are AIE-awesome!
Patch 1.4 Terror from Beyond
Terror from Beyond is the new operation dropped in patch 1.4. This storyline also ties into the Explosive conflict story line.
Terror from Beyond is set on the remote planet so Asation, where the sith lords know as the Dreadmasters have opened a Gree Hypergate. The Hypergate opens the door to an unknown place with unknown horrors. Your team is tasked with shutting down the Hypergate and kill anything that has come through.
This op has 8man and 16 man Story Mode and Hard mode.
I love this Op so far.

Group Finder enhancements (drops from where you came, have 2 hours to trade bop with group mates, etc)

AIE SWTOR is extremely excited to jump into F2P MMO’s with the upcoming F2P conversion of SWTOR.

Leveling gear will be purchasable. BioWare stated that end game gear will NOT be available for purchase. Want raid, I mean, Operation gear? Gotta do Ops.
Operations can be purchased (so says the Live Stream Q&A Sept, 21), so a free player can buy an operation if they wish.
HK-51 is expected this year. (New companion, meatbags! Like, on the PTS today!)
Cathar are coming soon, but “when it’s done.”
Waiting for Free-to-Play? Well, you can play, with AIE, right now! The game has a free to play to level 15 version out now. This will get you about 1 and a half to 2 planets of content per toon, a flashpoint (instance or dungeon if you prefer).
Playing now? Great! You are accumulating “Cartel Coins” that can be used to purchase boosts, pets, cosmetic items, and whatever else they put up on the cartel market.w
