So far, the cross faction guild implementation seems to be very popular! Especially with horde members joining the alliance side. The new zone is exciting and interesting. We’re all looking forward to season two officially kicking off on this coming Tuesday, which will bring the opening of the new raid on all difficulties (including the first wing of LFR) as well as the new mythic+ dungeons. The new upgrade system, although seemingly convoluted, is actually pretty neat and fun to experiment with.
Darkmoon Faire begins Sunday, with profession quests and a rep/xp buff if you ride the Roller Coaster or Carousel. Just in time for the new zone.
Also it is easy to do, unlike the neat and fun convoluted things.
Trial of the Crusader (next short raid) is on the PTR, and normal dungeons will soon drop Ulduar 10 loot (and tokens for Hard Mode Uld 10) with a ++ mode named Beta. And our raid team has filled our 2 open spots with a new mage and paladin. We raid naxx tonight, to gear the new 80s up, and should be heading back into Ulduar next week.

Cool things the guild has been doing:
– We’ve been working on Trials again and having a lot of fun doing so even though we usually have less than 12 people.
Things planned or coming up for the guild:
– More trials and another ToT tournament is in the sign up stages.
– The next chapter, Necrom, will be out June 5th for PC/Mac and June 20 for consoles
9:30pm Eastern on May 24, plus this coming Friday is Stormblood Extreme mount farming, poster in show notes below. Game activity is in maintenance mode, with moogle tome collecting being the main focus until the next patch.
Both fleets have made some big progress with fleet holdings. Fed fleet has completed the Colony tier V upgrade unlocking one of the better science ships in game. The KDF fleet has completed the dilithium mine, allowing us the best dilithium discounts for players and for other fleet projects.
STO is releasing new content starting on May 9th. They are starting a month long event to feature some of the new content. This new story arc is called Unraveled and we will be dealing with the multiverse and the Tholians. The event featuring the new content will reward a new Tholian themed space set and as such adds more options for Tetryon energy weapons for your ships.
Fun night is Monday at 10pm Eastern. Come join us while we set our phasers to fun and take on the enemies of the galaxy.
Fleet Action Report is on Thursday at 10pm Eastern. We will be delving into the new content and the new event.
It’s been a busy week in LOTRO with the release of Update 35.1.2. So that’s a new raid, Gwathrenost the Witch-king’s Citadel, and avatar appearance updates. Related but out of game, the LOTRO forums have been updated for the first time in years.
But my favorite by far is the look ahead by Lead Systems Designer, Orion. https://www.lotro.com/news/lotro-letter-2023-en?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=default&utm_content=ap_xforx7za19. With news of the rumored Umbar expansion, a new level cap, and new class due in Q4.
For folks with Mithril Coins consider The Homesteads and Harvest coffers (now through 05/14). It’s a themed set of housing décor items in three tiers of cost/detail.
And with that, let’s get back to Corley and Stask and find out what’s going on in SWTOR.
