New World continues to be quiet for AIE but the dev team is working hard to build on the strong foundation they started with. They’ve published a 2023 dev roadmap that includes “season” story updates and an “expansion” for the fall, which is targeted to include “mounts”, which is a long awaited feature. Keep an eye out and maybe we can get an AIE excursion later this year.

Diablo 3
The new Season 28: Rites of Sanctuary is live.

This season features the Altar of Rites that grants account-wide perks for your seasonal characters such as reducing all level requirements of gear to level 1, double bounty cache rewards, etc.

Diablo 4
Open Beta starts in a few weeks, March 17-19th for pre-orders and the following weekend 24-26th for all.

Release date is June 6th, 2023.

We have players dabbling in a bunch of other Nomads games regularly too. Be sure to check out the Nomads channel and if there’s something you’d like to get going, put the call out and we can see who is interested. Recent adventures included a few people surviving in Rust, a new No Man’s Sky expedition, and a start in Kerbal early access. On the horizon is the Coreborn Alpha event, Wild Hearts, and a possible Sons of the Forest hosted server.

Congrats to Raid Team Kiddie Aggro on their Ahead of the Curve Achievement for downing final boss Raza-geth in Vault of the Incarnates on Heroic. Noob Raid has now defeated two bosses on Normal. Thanks to all who join our Saturday night Guild event and shoutout to Dankinia for leading it.

WoW Classic
Classic continues to roll along, with Ulduar up and the Tournament grounds being built. Dailies for TOC are around, and things are cooking. No word on the next phase yet, but when it happens, we will be ready!

Alela’s Wrath (Stale-Puft Marshmallows) continue our progression thru Ulduar, with Thorim hard mode downed, and we were oh so close on Hodir Hard mode last week. Hoping for success this week on Hodir! We have killed 12 of 14, and we started to progress on Yogg last week.

We periodically run Naxx on Wed nights to fill in slots in gear to help that progression.

Bioware awarded a special mount to anyone that logged into the test server and ran a pvp match. Stash and Machete marshaled a group of guildies to get that done. Everyone’s mounts should appear in the mail when 7.2.1 launches. If anyone wants to continue their pvp journey, talk to either of them about their Wednesday night pvp shenanigans.

Also, make sure to have some pistachio ice cream in the guild kitchen. I hear it’s Marcus’ favorite. (according to Sema)

Cool things the guild has been doing:
– We’ve been working on clearing the trials that don’t have mechanics that force us to have a full 12 people. We’ve currently got three that we can routinely complete.

Things planned or coming up for the guild:
– Tales of Tribute Tournament 2 has concluded, but there are plans for ToT 3 to take place in mid-June with a prize pool of over 7 million gold. (too bad that doesn’t convert to real money)

Game News:
– The next chapter of the game, which is called Necrom, was announced. It will bring two new regions, new companions, and a new class called the Arcanist. Pre-orders of the chapter are available now.

Map nights on saturdays, and Weekly events that change every week at 9pm on Fridays, hosted by Sahja

The Federation fleet has made a big step forward and the final project, Tier V, for renewable energy branch of the colony has 5 days left. Once it completes we will be able to work on the overall colony’s final Tier V upgrade. Also something to note is that once the Renewable Energy project completes, we will have access to the best tactical consoles in game for tank builds.

Our KDF fleet has also been making some big strides as well. In just over 3 days and the final project for the Development branch of the dilithium mine will complete. This will unlock the maximum discounts for fleet project marks, which will in turn help us with other projects. We will have 1 more big project to complete at the dilithium mine and the holding will be completely done.

KDF fleet is actually not all that far from a Tier III starbase as well. And we have seen an influx of new KDF captains with the KDF recruit event going on in STO. Which, if you are wanting to create a Klingon Recruit, you have until March 9th. You only have to create the captain and get maybe 5 to 10 minutes into the tutorial and get the Encrypted Klingon Receiver device. Once you have the device have as much time as you want to complete the goals the device ask you to do. So, you can be a diehard and do it all in a weekend or be more like Grebog and still be working on it over a year later.

Fun nights are on Thursday at 10pm eastern. Come join us with our crazy antics. We run missions, TFOs, or sometimes Grebog comes up with a silly thing to have fun with.

Fleet Action Report episode 138 will be this Monday. This will be a bit of a different episode as hosts will discuss various things from what brought them to STO to why they continue playing all these years later and much much more.

Dungeons and more on the second Friday, MFN weekly.

Update 35 is still on Bullroarer (pts). That means we are getting closer to when the new update goes live. The spring festival starts on March 9th and runs through March 27th. Time to dust off the map of the maze and get ready for some fence walking.
