For WoW players, I would especially love to see pics of your Headless Horseman mount, helm and/or sword (as proof they actually exist). Other games – show us your rarest and best loved looks! We’re entering into the end of the year Holiday events-a-palooza stretch. Currently the Festival of the Lost is live until 2 Nov. Details:

New World
New World is quite a success. We had to open a second Company and move inactive to it, as we reached the cap earlier this week.

On Tuesday, we had our first MFN Trial, running around the map, fighting mid-level corrupted invasions and closing their portals.

On Thursday, we had our second MFN Trial, clearing a Pirate citadel, teaching who YARRs !

Voting was up about MFN evening selection. It was a close vote, but Thursday beat Wednesday.
Next MFN will be Thursday at 08:00 PM EST, for 2 to 3 hours, doing activities that allow players to join or leave at any time.

If anyone wants to run a Wednesday later MFN, anyone can schedule and organize.
See you in game !

Raid Team Roundup

Congrats to Kiddie Aggro for 10/10 Heroic Sanctum of Domination, our 2nd raid team with Ahead of the Curve Achievement.

The Filthy Casuals are going on break until 9.2 after completing 10/10 Normal Sanctum.

Behind the Curve is 4/10 Heroic Sanctum and farming Normal to gear up some new members.

Where Is The Tank /WiTT (alts) and DoA continue to farm Normal Sanctum, with several proceeding directly to Noob Raid. Prepare for trouble, make it double.

WiTT (mains) is 8/10 Heroic with only Fatescribe (aka Wheel of Misfortune) and Sylvanas left to go.

WoW Game News

Upcoming Extended Maintenance for US Realms – Tuesday 10/26 2 am to 10 am PDT

Patch 9.1.5 has a release date? I mean, it has a release date! November 2nd.

“It has a lot of quality of life improvements and some cool new features that we wouldn’t usually expect in an x.5 patch, including easy Covenant swapping, new character customization, Legion Timewalking, the return of the Mage Tower, legacy loot for BFA raids, and a whole lot more.” (Thanks to Blizzard Watch for the summary –

The Mage Tower will not release until December 7th when Legion Timewalking comes around. It will be available for two weeks (twooo weeeeks). You won’t be able to collect transmog that was available in Legion, but there are new Tier 20 Armor recolors and a mount to be obtained.

Official Patch Notes –

We are now less than one month away from Endwalker and the hype is real!

Remember, Endwalker starts for early access for pre-orders on November 19th. If you pre-order any version, you get an earring with a 30% bonus to all xp earned. Also, the stats on the earring scale with you, as you level, and change depending on what job you are on. This also includes crafting classes.

If you are not the pre-order type, Endwalker will start on November 23rd.

Even with all of the trailers, announcements, live letters, and media days, there still more that they have yet to announce, so on November 5th at 10pm EST, 7 PM PST and 4 rocks past the 5th sand dune in Arizona time, we have Live Letter LXVII (67). Here, all that is listed is “New Endwalker Information’ and “Miscellaneous Updates” on the agenda, so we do expect to hear new info on the expansion.

In the Free Company, we are working on creating Grade 3 XP buffs for everyone. Here’s how you can help.

First off, we need to create the aether wheel. This is created in the workshop, which is accessible in the FC house, main floor, back left corner. In there, there is the workshop and in the middle, we have our current project, which will be the Grade 3 Heat of Battle aether wheel.

You can donate the items to complete the craft. An officer will need to pull it out of the crafting station and start up a new one. From there, we need to place it in the aether wheel stand, where it needs to “cook” for 70 hours. When the time comes, we will pull out the charged aether wheel out and add it to our buff inventory.

Come Friday and Saturday, we will want to activate the following buffs.

Heat of Battle 3
Reduced Rates 2

This will allow everyone in the Free Company to get a 15% bonus to all combat XP generated, as opposed to the 10% we would get from Heat of Battle 2.

Also, remember that anyone can refresh the buffs. If you see the buffs are down, go into the FC panel and reactivate them. Just remember to use the grade 3 buffs on Friday and Saturday so that we can get an extra bonus for the weekends.

It’s still not too late to jump into your Final Fantasy XIV adventure! Come on down to the ffxiv channel in discord and we can get you started.

Bioware has published a cosplay kit for the very popular character, Lana Beniko. It includes high resolution images of her and of her unmistakable gear, as well as reference materials and color palettes. In case you have yet to meet Lana, here are a few words about her: “With her serene and considerate manner, one might mistake Lana Beniko for a Jedi. She is, however, a Sith Lord of great wisdom and strength who has impressed many of her peers in a considerably short period of time with her keen insights into the nature of the Force.” This cosplay kit is intended to be the first of many. Malgus, anyone?

The Feast of Prosperity and Double XP are still going on. Come join us Tuesday night for MFN where we will likely be killing an event boss or two, making some currency, and piling on the XP.

See Game Notes

Current Halloween Event, Fall of the Old Ones, is still ongoing.

The Mirror Guardian Cruiser will be available in the Zen Store starting 10/28.

Fleet Action Report is looking for 2 volunteers to help with the 10/25 show at 11pm Eastern. This will be to run a few Ground TFOs.

The new expansion “The Fate of Gundabad” will be released on November 10th. Also the long awaited curator vendor will be in Middle Earth from Oct.. 25th- Nov. 1st. If you have not taken advantage of the quest pack redeem code lotroquests2021 you have until the end of November to do so. Also most expansions are on sale in game for 99 LP. You can also go to for more details. Lastly, if you need any assistance with the new legendary Items we can walk you through it and answer any questions in the lotro channel.

Game News: Beta Week starts Tuesday. Try out the last 3 elite specializations for Thief, Engineer and Ranger. Week 2 for Return to Icebrood Saga also starts Tuesday. (Don’t forget to log in each week to get these chapters for free). Halloween Event is still ongoing, I believe it ends on November 9th.

There is a bonus to do a strike mission (5 to 10 man content) in this weeks Return to Bonus Achievement set. The reward is 7 mystic clovers for a piece of content that takes maybe 5 minutes. if that. You need 77 Mystic Clovers to make a Legendary weapon, and they are either absurdly expensive to craft, or limited to PVP/WVW reward track end rewards, or the 7 you can get for logging in for 30 days. The best way to get the strike mission done, is to watch LFG. Contacts and LFG button the upper left (default key Y), Second tab down in that window (LFG), then Strike Missions (middle bottom of the list), pick looking for more, and Shiverpeaks is what you are looking for.

Jehdai is expecting to see this bonus pop up with each chapters set of Return to achievements. Most of the strikes are pretty easy, and are supposed to be an introduction to raids.

Guild stuff: Mandatory fun Nights happen on Monday’s at 8:30 Central (the only real time zone), Maellung hosts dungeon nights (best to check discord for these). last, if you need help with ANYTHING in game, reach out in our discord channel.

And with that, let’s get back to Dankinia and find out what’s going on in ESO.

Before I dive into ESO I wanted to mention that Noob Raid will be taking our annual break for the Winter. Saturday, November 20th will be our last Noob Raid of 2021 and we will dive back into Normal Sanctum on January 8th. Also, at the request of Gusty, for the October 30th Halloween edition of Noob Raid the group will be picking up the “bad” anima powers and failing gloriously to kill Taragrue. in ESO MFN might also be on break during this time and I’ll keep you posted if that is the case.

Lately MFN’s in ESO have been event focused. With the Witches Festival going on we are running around dressed as skeletons, killing bosses for plunder skulls, collecting feathers, and finding places to jump off of. The event runs until Tuesday November 2nd at 10am EDT. You earn 2 event tickets for the first boss kill of the day and the plunder skulls can contain various “repulsive rewards” such as style items, furnishings and recipes, creep things, and fragments for a new pet called the Witch-Tamed Bear Dog. Don’t forget that using the whistle grants you a 100% exp boost that stacks with scrolls and drinking from the cauldron transforms you into a spooky undead skeleton. Also the first two fragments for the Doomchar Plateau are available in the event shop with the rest to be available later this year.

Deadlands, the next DLC zone, launches November 1st. It has new delves, new bosses, and new quests that continue the Gates of Oblivion story line. As is traditional, for our MFN that week we will explore the new area and see what adventures await us as well as find a high point for me to lead people off of.
