Imperium Ludi
In Dual Universe AIE has built and tested its first warp drive. And we continue to explore new planets each week. Several members are building their first space capable ships and we hope to have a small fleet of space faring ships operational soon.

AIE now has a solid guild organization in Dual Universe carving out both personal and guild territory, buildings and ships. As the beta becomes more and more stable, the economy, ship building and advanced design is really taking off. Catavarie has taken the lead and has built and tested the first warp capable guild ship. We are exploring new planets each week. Several members are claiming main planet territory and building new space capable ships. We hope to have a small fleet of planet hopping ships operational soon with fleet operations, carrier jumps, and other guild activities to come. Check out the #dual-universe Discord channel for pictures of the cool builds and tons of Q&A.

NOMADS
The #nomads channel has also been busy for us lately with excursions into the new Avengers game, some free time in Star Citizen, continued grouping and progression in Desitiny 2 and The Division 2, Call of Duty running a group weekly, and some No Many Sky update discussions. Animal Crossing turnip trade is still strong as well! If anyone is looking for more AIE in any of these be sure to post in the #nomads channel or the dedicated channels for Animal Crossing, Destiny, The Division and Dual Universe. We also want to hear about any other new games you might be playing and what AIE should do to get involved.

Happy birthday, Destiny turns six: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49527

Tuesday, 22 Sep, Destiny 2 will be available on XBox via the Game Pass.

If you would like to join AIE in Destiny 2, please holler in the #destiny2 AIE Discord channel or put in an application at https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2?groupid=2122972 . It’s been relatively quiet there though I have seen people online in voice. If you’re active, please seek each other out to accomplish your goals before the expansion arrives.

Diablo 3
The latest season continues with some folks in AIE popping in and out of the game. If you need any help completing your season, please holler in the Discord #nomads channel.

WoW Classic
Vanilla Sundae Fundays

Scoop out a little time from your schedule, and level up with us in WoW Classic! Whether you’re just starting out and sprinkling through starter quests, or adding the cherry on top of a max level 60… Everyone is invited to join us for an old fashioned social hour in game and Discord!

Greenwall is now active in WoW Classic! Our goal was to make communication easier with our friends in and another small guild called during raid nights and various other activities throughout the week. Make sure you download the Greenwall addon so that you see all of the combined conversation otherwise you will only see ? of what’s being said and you don’t want to miss out. Friendly reminder that the main guild chat is still considered family friendly so please be respectful to everyone!

Raid nights with the United Orgrimmar team continues to be awesome! They have cleared Molten Core and finished a full clear of AQ20! The schedule for Molten Core has moved to Saturdays so that more time can be devoted to Blackwing Lair on Sundays. If you’re interested in raiding, let us know and we will help guide you in the right direction!

If you’re interested in creating a character with AIE Guild in WoW Classic, we play Horde on the Pagle-PvE realm! Once you make a character, jump into the LFO channel in Discord and request a guild invite. Hope to see you in game soon!

SWTOR
On the game events side of things:

Double XP/Renown/Valor has started and will last about a month. It’s a great time to get alts leveled up or work on the Renown or Valor achievements.

Swoop Racing is back next week and we’ll be working on finishing up our reputation for the cool swoop rewards

For guild events:
Tuesday nights MFN continue to be big and we had a bunch of fun in the Explosive Conflict operations this week

Friday nights look like they will now be rotating every other week between Flash Point nights and Achievement nights, open to everyone in the guild

This month’s MEGA (Monthly Epic Guild Activity) will be coming up in the next two weeks and Mega will be going to meet the Dread Masters. In Dread Fortress. With some other fun squeezed in.

Side note:
Steam achievements are catching everyone’s attention and Steam continues to be a great update
There’s still a couple weeks left for the Shae Vizla companion for subbing anytime during 8/28 to 10/5

The conclusion to the Dark Heart of Skyrim year long even was announced and will be called Markarth. The new DLC will take you to the Reach area of Skyrim with a new zone, storyline, and solo arena. This DLC will release on November 2 for PC/Mac and November 10th for consoles, however it and Update 28 will be available on the PTS on September 21st.

The prologue quest line is now active and available in the crown store and will take you on an adventure that leads you directly into the main storyline of the Markarth DLC and the end of the year long event.

In addition to the announcement for the DLC, starting next week a new in-game event called The Lost Treasures of Skyrim for players that own Greymoor will start. It is a community based event with three tiers of collectible rewards that include cosmetics, a pet, a house, and houseguests. Unlocking these rewards will be done via the new Antiquities system and the more treasures everyone digs up, the quicker the community earns the rewards. In addition, during the event there will be bonus rewards available. In the Skyrim zone, all of the resource nodes, except for fishing nodes, will provide double rewards and all of the world bosses, delve bosses, and trial bosses will have a chance to drop additional loot and all of the daily quest will give double reward boxes when completed and the first daily quest of the day will drop a reward box that can contain crafting mats, style and set items, maps, surveys, motifs, and furnishing recipes. As will all of the recent events, you will get 3 event tickets you can spend at the Impresario of feathers, berries, and other items.

For our Mandatory Fun event on Friday, we will be taking a look at the new prologue quest as well as rampaging through Skyrim doing the daily quests to earn rewards and get loot.

FFXIV
We have patch 5.35 on the horizon. This one will expand on the Resistance Weapon, upgrading our resistance weapons, similar to the relics in previous expansions that we received in the previous patch. Also, the existing housing plots will be expanded significantly, adding not only more sections, but additional subdivisions too. There may be some opportunity to purchase a home of your own at this time.

In FC events, fun nights are still fun, and fun can be had even outside the fun nights. Groups are happening for all levels, at nearly all hours of the day. Plus the #ffxiv channel is moving all throughout the day for news, discussions, questions, answers, and amusing bits. Guides, tips, and other resources can be found in the #ffxiv-guides-n-tips channel and if you are looking to discuss the twists and turns of the FFXIV story, we have the #ffxiv-spoilers channel. For those wanting to talk about the overall FFXIV MSQ, please use that channel.

As always, we are always looking forward to you joining us in FFXIV.

New T6 Nebula bundle is coming Sept 24th, a science vessel pack. This will include T6, T5, and T3 ships, updated ship parts in the ship customization.

To Hell with Honor event is ongoing, and gets you a battle pet and a vanity pet. You have until the 29th to complete your daily completions of the TFO.

It is also an upgrade weekend, where you get 100% additional tech points when applying a tech upgrade to all items.

Fleet night is on Sunday at 8:30 PM Eastern. Lately we have been running episodes that were taken out of the seasons. We finished up the Kobali storyline last week. This week we will be running around with newly upgraded ships and testing them out to see how they feel.

GW2
We had a group get together to have fun and show a number of world bosses the might of AIE. The world bosses fell before us. On September 25, we will do a dungeon run with making some world bosses tremble before our might.

LOTRO
October 10 during SNL we will be having a chicken play race. Requirements are to be out of the intro area and there are a couple quests that do need to be run. We will be running people through these quests to get used to chicken play on September 26 and October 3rd. We have a prize for everyone who shows up on October 10th. Already completed most or all the chicken play? Don’t want to play as a chicken? Some may like an escort with them and you will receive a prize as well. It will be a great time running around as a lvl 1 chicken. Don’t miss out.

And with that, let’s talk about what’s going on in WoW.

GAME NEWS
From Gusty:
Brewfest starts Sunday. Nothing new but the usual transmog, mounts, pets, and toys. Plus the Sausage Eating contest! Nom nom nom.

She’ll be asking in Guild chat on Alliance and Horde if people want to group for the contest but is not setting specific dates/times.

All four Covenant shorts have been released, let the hype engine begin! Which one was your favorite?

Pre-patch speculation – Generally they give PvP 2 weeks notice before the end of season, two weeks from Tuesday the 22nd would be October 6th so this is the likely the earliest it could launch. Looking at WoWHead’s Event guide, it’s only two weeks long, so it could even launch October 13th, but that’s really pushing it close.. Neither PTR nor Beta
patching has gone to Release status yet, so it’s unlikely it’ll launch on September 29th.

There is a pre-patch ‘raid’ world boss which Noob raid will be tackling when it’s available.

For the rest of the events, check out the WoWHead guide (spoilers if you don’t want to know who the World Boss is or the events coming up)

https://www.wowhead.com/guides/shadowlands-deaths-rising-prelaunch-event-scourge-invasions

Those on the PTR/Beta will only be required to download a small update, while the entire 9.0.1 patch appears to be approximately 20GB in size.

Like pre-patches for previous expansions, the Shadowlands pre-patch 9.0.1 packs core class updates, Shadowlands’ New Player experience, the limited-time Scourge Invasion, character creation/character customization, and more. WoWHead has a guide, because of course they do, for all the changes coming to 9.0.1 which are literally too long to list here.

Character Creation Screen
The character creation screen has received a huge facelift. The interface now has a more modern style, and higher quality icons for races, classes, genders and the buttons in general. When creating your character, the customization options are handled in new dropdown menus, including color swatches for skin and hair color.
Each character preview also now showcases fancy animations along with elaborate armor and weapons.
Barbershop
The barbershop has several impactful improvements in the pre-patch:
You can change your gender at the barbershop instead of using a paid service.
Tons of Druid customizations available that weren’t before.
