The Gates of An’Qiraj are now open!
The Vanilla “Sundae” Funday events in WoW Classic during the AIE Guild Summer of Love were great! We had a nice turn out both at the start and end of the event.
Raid nights with the United Orgrimmar team continues to be awesome! Yesterday they cleared Molten Core and finished a full clear of AQ20! The schedule for Molten Core has moved to Saturdays so that more time can be devoted to Blackwing Lair on Sundays. If you’re interested in raiding, let us know and we will help guide you in the right direction!
As of today Sunday, August 9th, Greenwall is now active in WoW Classic! Our goal was to make communication easier with our friends in United Orgrimmar and another small guild called For the Birds during raid nights and various other activities throughout the week. Make sure you download the Greenwall addon so that you see all of the combined conversation otherwise you will only see ? of what’s being said now and you don’t want to miss out. Friendly reminder that the main guild chat is still considered family friendly so please be respectful to everyone!
Huge thanks to Tetsemi for working behind the scenes with Nevermore and Coma from UO to get everything up and running today!
If you’re interested in creating a character with AIE Guild in WoW Classic, we play Horde on the Pagle-PvE realm! Once you make a character, jump into the LFO channel in Discord and request a guild invite. Hope to see you in game soon! ~ GM Nevermore
Alliance Raid Hell Froze Over had 16 people join for Ny’alotha, they got Heroic Wrathion down, Took a couple of shots at Heroic Maut to take a look at the fight, then continued their saved Normal lockout and got Vexiona and Carapice down before calling it a night. They raid on Friday nights from 8pm-11pm ET and welcome anyone who would like to join them, even if they are cross realm.
Guild invites keep rolling in we are at 460 members and even with beta out, we have 10-15 people on at any given time on the Alliance side..
Saturday the Gusty and Fezgig did the Summer of Love battle pet event, and started on the Alliance side and gave out a few pets and did a several hidden pet quests. They moved over to the Horde side for a few more hours and had pretty good response to pets in guild, and again were able to do some hidden quest chains to open up pet vendors.
Gustytail will surely like to share the high moment of the evening, with a pretty cool opportunity that a special someone (identity has not been revealed) allowed us to do with 1 Million Gold!!! All in all, I think a lot of pets went to good foster homes.
Hey, Syreyne- (getting called out), Fezgig now has a full team of Anacoa Chickens lvl 1 to battle your team of left sharks
Last week, SWTOR jumped onto Steam and because of that, it’s a great time to jump back into the game or try it out for the first time. There are a lot of players doing the same. Content creators in general have been covering all the stuff you need to know both as a new player and a returning one. If you want to check SWTOR out, jump into the AIE discord and say hi. We have guilds on both the Republic and the Empire sides on Star Forge server.
Nar Shaddaa Nightlife is still ongoing with lots of guildies reporting having won the big prizes. Apparently it’s not impossible! The event goes on until August 25th.
During our Summer of Love MFN, we went to the Guild Stronghold on Rishi for some impromptu Huttball, then we toured the galaxy killing world bosses. We ended the evening with a mount giveaway where everyone who attended got to choose one from a special Events tab in the guild bank. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes!
On Friday, Maellung’s Flashpoint Friday event started out with a costume contest, and everyone who competed got to choose two outfits from the many that have been donated to the guild. Then we went and did some Master Mode Flashpoints that perhaps we shouldn’t have, which made it all the more fun.
Special note to let everyone know that the newest edition of BCavanagh’s Conquest Calculator is available. This is a tool you can use to plan and track your Conquest activities. Check the pins in discord to find a link!
ESO’s MFN event on Friday was called House Hunters Tamriel Edition. We spent the evening show of some of our personal houses in game and several of our members proved once again they are amazing decorators. Skye’s SoL themed house was outstanding and the attention to detail was amazing. Vore’s library of floating books and neat display of items obtained by the Antiquities skill made it a home that a mage would aspire to reside in. Looci, Shimmer, and Kelseer also opened their homes for our tour. If you want to check out all the houses we visited, the video is on my twitch channel, twitch.tv/dankinia and will go up on the AIE Youtube channel soon as well.
See Game Notes
STO’s SoL event will be running the Risa event on Sunday at 8:30 PM Eastern. Hang out on the beach, build a sand castle and tour the island. We look forward to seeing everyone
Last night fun was had and prizes were given out at our search and rescue event. If you missed it do not worry it will be coming around again. Do not forget if you have not claimed your free quest packs to do so before the end of the month using the code LOTROFREEQUESTS in the lotro store. Expansion quest packs are also still available for 99 LP through the end of the month as well, this does not include Mordor and Minas Morgul though. Rohan housing is live and AIE has started to take over 1 of the neighborhoods.
There are also the rumblings of the rumor that the band will get back together
And with that, let’s get back to Abovan and Durus and find out what’s going on in FFXIV.
