Diablo 3

Details for this PTR, how to participate in and what to focus on to aid in testing of the patch can be found at: https://us.diablo3.com/en/blog/23420227/patch-269-ptr-begins-521-5-15-2020

Destiny 2
Season the Worthy lasts until 9 Jun. Guardian Games have concluded with Titans dominating the event. For the events of this past week, including some community spotlighted videos you can always check the Bungie website: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49027

The Clan does have openings, and make sure you mention in the #destiny2 channel of discord that you’ve applied and make sure you’re not currently in a clan when submitting an application. Apps can be approved but you will need to drop your current clan to accept the invite.

WoW
We have about 40 approved applications on the Virtus (alliance side) that just need to go back in and accept. I sent emails in game to let them know as well. I triple dog dare them to accept it!

Noob Raid is still doing amazing and running two groups.

@Koochikoo-Gustytail and Syreyne are hosting a new event for WoW, both Horde and Alliance.

AIE Adopt-A-Pet Day

Sunday June 7th from 12pm to 5pm ET/Server

Help us! We are being overrun by Void Beetles and Left Sharks, and all the other pets in our menagerie are going crazy! So we have decided to hold an Emergency Pet Adoption Day!

Details will be in the blog. Please help share this across WoW on both sides. We will also be creating guild event posts on the in-game calendar as well.

SWTOR
May the 4th brought everyone a new astromech, which Max promptly added to his dwindling supply. We also, used the fourth as an excuse for a party version of MFN. We unlocked the last rooms on both flagships, had a Hutt race, and blew each other up with huttballs. You may have seen a shot in discord of us all disguised as Hutts, filling up the ship elevator to way beyond capacity.

Friday the 15th was the first meeting of Flashpoint Fun. It’s an opportunity to run the Master Mode Flashpoints needed to achieve the Aratech Ice speeder. Maellung will be running it roughly every two weeks and will continue until everyone has their speeder. It started on the Imperial side, but depending on interest, may run on the Republic side as well.

May’s MEGA is coming up on the 22nd. Marcus is going to lead us in a datacron crawl. He has gotten people stationed at some of the trickier ones so that we can use the flagship to summon people. If you don’t have all your datacrons yet, this will be a great opportunity to fill is some gaps.

Guildie Spicolee has started a new Ops team. They are going to meet on Monday nights (8:30PM to 10:30PM Eastern) on the Republic side. They need one more DPS and then they are ready to roll! The team’s name is WtC-? (Where’s the Cantina?)

The collections unlock sale ends tomorrow!

ESO
When Greymoor launches, Update 26 comes out as well which is a base game patch. In that patch, they have overhauled the Vampire skill line and changed the way players afflicted with that curses play. there will be new abilities along with replacements and updates to existing ones. It also changes the way you manage the four stages of the curse and to increase the stage as well as remain in stage 4 you’ll need to feed unlike now when the stage increases over time and doesn’t degrade. These changes mean a lot of players who have vampires just for the passives, might decide to cure it instead of keep it.

For MFN on May 29th we will be going into the new area together. If you plan on joining the fun, and you should, please hold off on doing the starting quests on at least one of your characters.

FFXIV
Like many things in our world today, Covid-19 has impacted Final Fantasy XIV’s patching schedule, delaying patch 5.3, Reflections in Crystal, by 2-4 weeks, putting the patch somewhere in the mid-July timeframe. With that said, patch 5.3 is shaping up some significant changes to the game, especially for new players.

The old MSQ, the game’s primary quest line that takes you from level 1 to max level and beyond, is being streamlined in the early game, removing about 13% of the game’s fluff quests. The MSQ experience is being revamped to provide all of the experience you need to level from 1-50 on its own. Another big change is to add the mounts to the MSQ (previously a side quest), adding the Crystal Tower Raids (Very Important to the story of Shadowbringers), and arguably the biggest change, flying in the original game lands!

For the FFXIV Vets out there, patch 5.3 will have the next installment of the highly anticipated Dark Apocalypse raid series, The Puppet’s Bunker. This will be a 24-player alliance raid. The next step of the Resistance Weapon upgrade will also be available on this patch. If you are a crafter and have your Skysteel Tool crafting relic, that will also have upgrades available as of this patch as well. A new beast tribe for the dwarves will be available for the crafters of the realm as well. In addition, a mystery trial is also available as part of the MSQ, which is FFXIV speak for “Spoilers, sweetie.”

We have a lot of community news today, which we will go over in a few!

STO

LOTRO
The anniversary event runs through the 20th. Only a few more days to try to finish up quests with the event and also to farm those steel tokens for your monster players. Another PvMP night is coming soon, so stay tuned to #lotro for more details.

And with that, let’s get back to Kelseer and Abovan and find out what’s going on in FFXIV.

GAME NEWS
Community Events.
Monday Night MFN. Questing content, instance groups, roulettes, ect.
Tuesday, All request raid legacy raid night. Old raids, mount farming, old extremes. Request it and we will try to accommodate.

Thursday, not an AIE event, but our first raid team is off the ground running, Noobs on Demand (NoD). Look for updates in the raid updates channel.

Saturday night map nights! Very popular event where we run maps!

Late Night Fish Club. Most nights, we have a handful of us doing the ocean fishing events at 2am EST.

The FC Crafting Projects are underway to create Airships and Submarines for run missions for the FC. Some of the potential rewards are tier 3 buffs for the FC, pets, and mounts that are only acquirable via the exploration missions. The crafting logs are posted to the website periodically for interested parties.

One of the rewards that the airships and subs bring back often are crafting shards, crystals, and clusters. These items can be provided to AIE membership at 10% under the market value. See an AIE officer for details.
