Welcome to episode #293 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community, the die has been podcast. This is Tetsemi: To my left is Mkallah: – (Hey guys, there is Sticky Toffee pudding in the guild kitchen). (And, Mewkow will be in shortly! This week we are joined by Hoots and a mystery guest who are here to talk to us about AIE in Eve The Fine Art of Seafaring. Welcome!
Ok, we’ll be digging into EVE shortly, but first, let’s cover this week’s news…
AIE News
Imperium Ludi
ESO news: The Dragon Bones update is now live with two new dungeons and accompanying new items sets, monster helms and achievements. There’s only a handful of players in ESO these days but an AIE is available in game and a channel is active in Discord for those interested.
NOMADS
Season 13 in Diablo 3 has officially started and the group of usual suspects are in there doing our thing, come join us, it’s free to play after all. And a new League will be starting in Path of Exile this coming Friday at 1pm ET, it, also, is free to play, and really a lot of fun. Come on by and give Apolas and Durus a shout.
WoW
Gusty is hosting a transmog swapmeet, a WoW event, for the Trial of Style, giving away transmog gear. March 3rd at 4pm and march 4th at 1pm.

Also a reminder of the upcoming April 1st Fools Rush in Challenge
Do a raid or dungeon on Sunday, April 1, in your least-played spec. Yep. Tanks go heals (and vice versa if you’re a Druid). Hunters go Survival (which may be a misnomer in this case). Mages go Arcane (get to hear the cool stuff your weapon says!) The idea is to have fun and make a fool of yourself with friends.

We had an amazing time with the First Annual Rall’s Amazing Race and can’t wait to duplicate this in other games as well. Thanks to Pellel and Max for the idea, thanks to Syreyne for hosting and cat herding, and thanks to Eagle the quest giver for taking his own mage portal and giving us all a good laugh.

SWTOR Escape Pod Cast 231: Not a Roadmap to Taris

This week @AIESema, @MaxTheGrey and Astromech EPC-231 walk through the game update news posted about 5.8 and 5.9 in the “not a roadmap” post all while we finally get our story play-through onto the surface of Taris
Update news for updates 5.8 and 5.9 are now published. We’ll be seeing those updates in March and April. This will include the final boss of the Gods From The Machine operation, conclusion to the Traitor story with a Flash Point on Nathema, and updates to Conquest, among other things.
Mandatory Fun Night will be on Pub side this week running Dread Fortress and next week on Imp side running Dread Palace.

Personal housing is once more available.
Raid Deltascape Savage now available.
Little Ladies’ Day, the next seasonal event starts on 1 March.
It features concert glow lights, doll furniture display, and music.
Our FC world server, Goblin in the Aether Data Center, still has the “Road to 60” buff that greatly boosts XP gains for jobs under level 60.
We’ve welcomed a few new folks to the FC, please be on the lookout for new names in FC chat.
A few folks are on daily doing hunts, and roulettes. Speak up in FC Chat if you want to be involved.
Those that missed the amazon FF14 purchase bonus event a year or so ago can now purchase those formerly exclusive maid and butler outfits on the store.

Welcome back to Captain Hunter who has returned from his hiatus in STO and is back and exploring all the new content. He also brings with him news, that starting in March, you will be able to 3D print your starship.

Development Laboratories rank III will be completing mid week. This will allow the purchase of an additional ground reputation trait and space reputation trait. These will be able to be purchased at the fleet science lab. After this completed, we will begin work on the final upgrade for the science lab. This will be a big project and take a lot of resources.
And as always the fleet has been doing amazing with all the hard work on the fleet projects.
