Welcome to episode # 243 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community. This is Tetsemi and with me as always, is Mkallah (there is a coffee cake in the guild kitchen). Alludra is still recovering from her long birthday celebration and will not be joining us today. This week we are joined by special guest Kav who are here to talk to us about AIE in WildStar Welcome!

Hope you all had a Wonderful Brewfest! Next up is Hallow’s End, which starts on October 18 and goes November 1st. They have streamlined the event- gone are the days of hourly trick or treating for a chance at a rare mask or vanity item. Instead, there is a new vendor and daily system, similar to Noblegarden. There is a new pet, the Feline Familiar- and old favourites like the Sinister Squashling are now purchasable. And, there is a Creepy Crate available from a short questline AND a Little Wickerman available from the vendors, which functions as a campfire. All of the info is available on WOWhead and the forums.

The Day of the Dead follows Hallow’s End and this year it runs from November 1st to November 3rd.

October also brings Lich King time walking dungeons, from October 21st to October 27th. Get your old raid group together and relive the fun- or experience it for the first time.

So as an avid user of ArkInventory for my bags and an overly organized person, I tend to use ArkInventory rules to put stuff in specific locations in the inventory screen. You can collect transmog sets from the Salvage Yard and buy transmog sets from the Warmill. To keep those from getting lost in my general inventory I’ve made two rules for ArkInventory that will allow you to choose a location for that rule and the items will show up there. It’s faction agnostic and has all the sets per rule, so you only have to set it once on one character and it will be in effect for all your characters.

As Knights of the Fallen Empire quickly approaches, information is flowing forward like Blue Milk! Companion max affection achievements are being removed, so if you have not completed this yet, do it while you can! There will also be changes to crafting, including two new endgame purple mats, conquest mats can only be acquired with completing personal conquest goals and operation mats can only be acquired by killing bosses in Operations.

From the Romulan Republic News Service affiliate of the United Federation of Planets Galactic News Network, this is RRF Fleet Admiral Cybyl reporting:

1. Star Trek Online’s ‘Design Your Ship’ crowdsourced project nears it’s final phase as the Epsilon and Omega starship designs are the close winners. We are awaiting the next phase as the new week approaches.
2. Since the release of the new Federation Tier 6 Hestia-class Escort and Tier 6 Promethius-class Refit released two weeks ago, several new ships were released last week:
2.1 The new and awesome Federation Tier 6 Enhanced Yamato-class dreadnaught, along with greatly revamped T6 Galaxy-class and T6 Monarch-class cruisers. All are based on classical, highly-successful Federation designs.
2,2 The new and equally awesome Romulan Tier 6 Kara-class dreadnaught, along with a highly upgraded T6 Ha’apax Fleet Advanced Warbird. Both are based on a merger of several, battle-proven Warbird architectures.
2.3 The new and just as awesome Klingon Tier 6 Kolasi-class siege destroyer along with a highly upgraded and improved T6 Garumba-class siege destroyer. These are both based on tried-and-true, successful Nausicaan designs.
3. As the new 11th season release approaches, the highly successful ‘Tales of War’ Iconian war chronicles has been replaced with the new ‘Utopia Planitia Report’ series of behind-the-scenes tales.
4. The 11th Season will be concerned with the war-ravaged worlds as they rebuild and still have to battle the Mirror Universe adversaries who are attempting to invade and conquer our universe while the factions are at a perceived weakened state.
4.1. Leading the invasion will be the evil Terran Empire’s Admiral Leeta, the mirror opposite of the Dabo table hostess, Leeta, from the Star Trek Deep Space 9 series. The part will be voiced by Chase Masterson, the original actress in the TV series.
4.2 A new level 60 battle zone will be introduced with Season 11, similar to the Delta Quadrant Solanae Dyson Sphere battle zone in Season 10. The new new battle zone will be located in the Badlands of the Alpha Quadrant
5. Take warning STO players wishing to access the STO homepage for news, purchases and forums on October 13: the website will be down for 12 hours for refit and upgrade. The game, however will be unaffected.
6. A Galactic Restoration Project shall be instituted October 8 through October 29, for game-wide player credits and perks. This is to help in the rebuilding efforts of the galaxy. This is similar to the Delta Rising Project:
6.1 Oct 8-15, complete fleet projects to unlock bonus fleet credits
6.2 Oct 15-22, complete Duty Officer assignments to unlock expertise and skill point bonuses.
6.3 October 22-29, players shall luxuriate in an additional week of ALL the bonuses they unlocked the first two weeks
