Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. (Irvine, CA) has announced their intention of launching a new WoW Token program that will allow players to only pay for 30 days of game time but also buy and sell gold from their fellow World of Warcraft Players.
Very similar to the PLEX system in EVE Online, the WoW token service will allow gold strapped players the ability to purchase the token with real money and then exchange the token for a set amount of in game gold (provided by their fellow players) or 30 days of game time. The amount of gold you receive for the token will be predetermined by Blizzard via a WoW Token Exchange.
