AIE NEWS

The secret world has released it’s august game director’s letter! Apparently they are keeping things really secret nowadays! The letter talks about things like issue 8 which will take place in Venice, and even a bit about issue 9 which is set for Tokyo! There is too much great stuff to mention here! So head on over to the website and check it out! Hopefully their september letter will be out before christmas! I’m Ron Burgundy?

Secret world is also holding events starting on september 6th! (At least these aren’t being kept secret! September 6th-8th is golden weekend which means bonues and in game goodies for players. Not enough? Well how about the guilded rage event? This event gives double ability points, free months of membership for recruiting, and Funcom points are being sold at a discount! So if you are in the secret world check out all the fun!

Well it appears that Final Fantasy is STARTING to stabilize and it looks like Gilgamesh might be the server of choice for AIE. I think they’re still feeling things out, but there is a long thread about availability of character gen in the forums so check it out! It appears that night owls have an advantage here!

So we know you love THIS podcast, right? RIGHT? Well just in case you needed MORE, fear not, frequent guests on the show who talk about SWTOR have formed their own Podcast to be under the ‘AIE Umbrella’. It’s called The Escape Podcast and you should give it a listen! It’s not up in iTunes yet, but is going through approvals, so you can download it through direct link.

It’s the week before world of warcraft’s patch 5.4, are you ready? Remember things such as the battlefield barrens are going away, and new content is going to be taking its place, such as the celestial tournament, the timeless isle and the siege of orgrimmar! The patch is scheduled for September 10th, so be prepared!

And with that, lets jump back to Ralff and Stigg to talk about AIE…
