If you have tried to visit the popular sites MMO Champion or WoWPedia today you may have noticed that Google has shut down access to the sites. Seems that there is a problem with the third party adserver system that these sites use and there may have been malicious code embedded in the banner ads on their sites.
MMO Champion has confirmed the site shutdown via their Twitter feed.
We advice our members to avoid visiting these sites until the problem has been addressed. Verify that you have the latest virus updates on your virus scanners and get your WoW account authenticated.
