NCSoft announced today that ArenaNet will support a beta client for Mac OS X. The client is slated to be made available on the GW2 account management site.
This is great news for many of our members. With our roots in World of Warcraft, we have a significant number of members that favor Apple’s desktop computing platform. Now, they get to join in the fun.
There are a few caveats. Obviously, it is a brand-new beta client and we can expect to see problems during this phase. But, the base system requirements for Mac OS X are bit higher than the requirements under Microsoft Windows.
