Welcome to episode #435 of the podcast celebrating you, the Alea Iacta Est gaming community, the die has been podcast. This is Mkallah: To my left is Tetsemi: – (catch phrase here). And to my right is Mewkow: (catch phrase here). Since it has been a while, we figured we would do a host show to get back into it! Also, a programming note, due to many real life conflicts, we decided to make the show four weeks, starting this week! We hope this will help us get a regular guest rotation and have less scheduling conflicts due to work/family/cons/life. We will make sure everyone knows in advance when the next show will be- and there will also be an additional AIE blog post on the week when we WOULD have had a show.

NOMADS
Dune Awakening is launching for head start on Thursday, 6/5, and regular start on Tuesday, 6/10. We’ll have a group in there on the 5th and will be putting the World and Sietch (server details) in the channel that morning. The spice must flow.
From Max – Our group in ARK has been exploring the new Asteros map and now has 3 maps linked. The game will have a big core Unreal 5.5 update tomorrow and the Raknarok map coming later this month that we’ll add as a 4th map. Everyone who joins us now gets a high level Tek Giga-noto-saurus we’ve collected too.
WoW
It’s June first and the Trading Post has new stuff! It’s a fire and ice theme, with cool helms and weapons, three mounts – including the Coldflame Cormaera, a Colorful Beach Chair toy and more.
Darkmoon Faire is also here. Grab your profession quests, rep and xp buffs!
Horrific Visions are also back with new mounts, a pet and other goodies.
On June 3rd Burning Crusade Timewalking begins along with the new Dastardly Duos event, where players face off against “cherished” bosses from Shadowfang Keep, Scholomance, Deadmines and The Culling of Strathoholme.
In Raid Team news
Dungeoneeing Inc has killed Heroic Mugzee, next to last boss in Liberation of Undermine. Hell Froze Over took out the first 3 bosses on Heroic and will be returning tonight with progression team So Let’s Go Skating.
Kiddie Aggro had an achievement night in Undermine this week, earning the Junkmaestro’s Magnetomech mount. (Oooh so zappy!)
They are now running a Team Challenge to level alts of a randomly determined race, class and spec for Normal Undermine. Gustytail is nearing lvl 80 on her Earthen Ret Paladin, Donnut, and hoping her Prot Offspec won’t be needed.
(Yes, she’s named after the cat in Dungeoncrawler Carl.)
SWTOR
Game Update 7.7 called “Dynamic Worlds” arrived last week. It included Dynamic Events for 7 new planets, new steps in character modernization, a ton of new colors that can be used in character customization, updates to add convenience tools to the game maps, master mode for the newest lair boss, and numerous quality of life improvements, especially for returning players.
There is also a twitch drop running right now for the Umbaran Holo-Rancor. If you like big mounts and you cannot lie, especially if they are part hologram and part droid, then this might be for you!
Please join us for our MFN nights on Tuesdays. The topics that come up -might- be Star Wars related, but also could be things like “Was Ally MacBeal really the first appearance of the dancing baby meme?” or “Is there a wooden toy train simulator game and can you get jumanjied into it?”. Fair warning: There might be dad jokes.

ESO
There is a Golden Pursuit event going on for the month of May that will reward a house if 25 of the tasks have been completed. MFN’s will be focused on doing group content to help people check items off the list to earn the house.
We are getting prepared for the upcoming changes which will allow subclasses. We’ve spent time running dungeons for gear and leveling up alts to unlock skill lines.
FFXIV
Cosmic exploration is well underway, level your crafters and gatherers while earning currency towards glams and other items like emotes, a mount, and a minion.
In roughly a month or so we will have the Occult Crescent, Dawntrail’s version of Bozja, and with that same patch we will also be getting our next allied society quests- the Mamool Ja.
Zoot is attempting to do mount farming on Friday nights schedule permitting. We are focusing on EW mounts first, so as long as you have a character at lvl 100 with at least your artifact gear you are able to join easily.
LOTRO
Your AIE Officers work to decorate our kinship house.
On April 23rd, Update 44 the Crown of Hamat was released, as we move beyond the coastal areas of Umbar into the deserts. Meanwhile, on April 24th, LOTRO celebrated its 18th Anniversary event. Get your free character frame, title, and gift while you can (don’t forget your Creeps, they get gifts too). Last but not least, the Curator has returned; they will be available from May 1st to May 11th.
