Alldura – Welcome to episode # 227 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community, the die has ben podcast. This is Alludra. To my left is Mkallah – (hey guys, there is a strawberry strata in the guild kitchen). And right over there cleaning up the mess, we have Tetsemi! (Catch Phrase here ). This week we are joined by special guests Sema and Max who is here to talk to us about AIE in SWTOR Welcome!

Kav has been hard at work on the new AIE website and it looks great, with lots of great functionality including guildie of the month spotlight, easy links to the forums, mumble information, the meetup site and so much more. If you have been a member of AIE for any time, you know about the epic event that is Nerdtacular. The annual event is taking place at the Snowbird resort from July 30- August 1st- and tickets are quickly selling out. On February 27th, the Science fiction community lost everyone’s favourite honorary geek grandfather, Leonard Nimoy. To remember this great may and his many contributions to Star Trek and Geekdom, STO has set up two permanent in game memorials, not just honoring Mr Nimoy, but other Star Trek family members who have passed.

Alldura- PAX East News:

FFXIV-
Just announced at PAX East, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward finally has a release date- June 23rd. The crew from Final Fantasy will should be joining us next week, so we can get all of the details on the new content that we can expect this summer.

Hearthstone:

Just announced the newest Hearthstone expansion Black Rock Mountain will be available for pre-order on March 19-20th and launch in April.

Heroes of the Storm:

A new hero debuted at PAX East, Sylvanus. You know her, you love her, you will obey her in this life, or the next, it’s Sylvanus! She plays as either an assassin or a warrior, either way she will command your attention or you’ll find yourself dead on the floor back at your base.

Overwatch:

Beta is coming Fall 2015 and two new characters were announced. McCree, a gunslinging cowboy that echos right out of your favorite spaghetti western and Zyrya, a former world champion weight lifter turned hero. Yes she’s a tank, and yes she is Tetsemi’s new favorite character because, tank, and dose ‘guns. Seriously, really well done job on both, but extra praise on the non-typical body type.

For April 28th, which is our current tentative date for game update 3.2, we have a new system called the outfit designer. Stay tune for a blog of this awesome new feature coming soon!
A new story arc on the planet Ziost. This story arc takes us to the Imperial homeworld of Ziost, where we answer many of the questions posed by the cliffhanger at the end of Shadow of Revan.
It also have the end of PvP season four and the start of season five.
Beyond that, we would like to, this year, do a new stronghold. In addition to that also add a new playable race: the Togruta. I kind of let the cat out of the bag on this one last year that the New York cantina, but now it’s in writing or on the interwebs via my voice.
