Nikodas and Grebog are back with another episode of Fleet Action Report, talking about Star Trek Online. We go into the current events in game and all the details about what you should look for in a plasma build. Next week we will be covering some TFOs.
NOMADS
The AIE board gaming group is meeting the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. So the next gaming session will be this Thursday, July 1st. They currently plan to play Tzolk’in, a Mayan-themed worker placement game with a unique gear mechanism which dynamically determines what workers can do.
“… People are still in and out…” does pretty much cover the activity specific to AIE participation in Diablo 3 and Destiny 2 every week at this point. However, if you want something that may put the notion of trying these games again into people’s heads, here’s a bullet point for each…

Diablo III

Noob Raid News – There will be no Noob Raid on July 3rd and July 10th.
Chains of Domination, Patch 9.1 will be coming out June 29th. Too many changes/updates to list, but a couple of things to highlight. There will be a new land area to explore, flying available in the 2nd or 3rd week of the patch just for doing your covenant story line, a new raid, a new megadungeon, and a revamped Torghast as well as you’ll be able to ride your mounts in the Maw.
Tets and Mew, I know the two of you are a bit burned out with WOW right now. Is there anything that is tweaking your interests in this new patch?
WoW Classic
We’ve moved to Mankrik, Horde Side for the Burning Crusade Classic, feel free to check the AIELFO channel in game (/join aielfo) and/or use #LFO or #wow-classic on AIE’s Discord server.
SWTOR
It was TOTAL GALACTIC WAR. The guild won another planet. All the guild events last week were co-opted for this effort and all guildies in their individual and group play contributed to points to help us win. This opportunity only comes around a few times a year. Winning a planet means that for a period of time, everyone who arrives on that planet will see the words, “CZ-198 Controlled by Alea Iacta Est Timor”.
In game news, we are shocked, shocked to see gambling going on in here. The Nar Shaddaa Night Life event is just around the corner. Come to the casino with a few credits in your pocket and unfounded hope in your heart. It only takes a little luck to win the top prizes. Or maybe a lot of luck. Or infinite luck. You have from June 29 to August 10th. Plenty of time to procrastinate….
Also, Double XP is coming back starting on June 29 and going until July 13th.
FFXIV
The AIE Membership in FFXIV has shown a steady increase in numbers and a very high member retention rate in the past few weeks, leading up to even before the Fan Fest. Many thanks to all of the FFXIV old timers and new folks coming on board to enjoy the adventures in Eozrea with AIE. We are successful because of you folks. So, big shout out to all of you.
Patch 5.55 is still the current content patch. This includes the last step of the resistance weapon quest line, which is the best in slot for every job with no need to jump into savage raiding.
Endwalker, the next expansion to FFXIV will be coming out on November 23 (or the 19th for the pre-orders), but there’s a bunch of in-game events happening until then.
Sometime in June (that’s the month we are currently in), we will get the Make It Rain event, which is a Gold Saucer event. Rack up those MGPs to get all of those awesome cosmetics, mounts, minions, and hairstyles!
Sometime in the June/July time frame, we will get a balance patch 5.56, and then another balance patch 5.57 in July/August time frame. This will prep the game up for Endwalker release. We will get more info on this soon!
The Moonfaire and the Rising will be coming in August. This event is normally a celebration of the players and the rebirth of the game many years ago. This event usually falls at or very close to AIE’s own Remembrance Week, so look forward to future announcements on that.

FF14 AIE Content Progression
Join us down in the #ffxiv channel for more details on the game. Remember, if you are on the fence on this game, the entirety of the base game and the first expansion Heavensward (level 60) is available at no cost. You can check this out on PC, Mac, Steam (for PC), Playstation 4, and the recently released native Playstation 5 version. Regardless of your platform, all players share the same servers, and there’s no limitations on what content or control scheme a platform can use. We love welcoming new players to AIE in Eorzea and we can’t wait to welcome you as well.

Standard activities include: Clearing zones of Skyshards and World Bosses, Clearing Public dungeons, and best of all, being lead off cliffs by Dankinia!
MFN’s activities happen each week and involve either zone clears, daily dungeon runs, and/or public dungeon clears. Next week we’ll be making our way through the two public dungeons in the new Blackwood zone.

The end of the Klingon Civil War comes in the House United Season.
Only Qo’nos Endures Event: Earn a 4-piece ground set by playing new missions, new TFOs, or new patrols all centered around the new season.
New Bridge for KDF Captains: Based one a new in-game mission.

GW2
Same deal with logging in and getting old living world stuff for free. I think season 2 episode 5 and 6 are free now. 7 and 8 on Tuesday. If you have been keeping up with the bonus achievements next week should be the first big reward, an ascended weapon of choice. Of course you can go and take your time with these bonuses. Achievements. If you do them all you will get a legendary amulet.
July’s Dungeons and More will be pushed back a week until July 16th

Update 30 ‘Blood of Azog’ has arrived, along with the ‘Yore of Azanulbizar’. The new Fall of Khazad-dûm raid is available, along with a handful of balancing tweaks to characters.
