Welcome to episode #245 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community, the die has ben podcast. This is Tetsemi: To my left is Alludra – (hey, AIE, I think you’re awesome”). And to my right, we have Mkallah: (Hey, guys, there are tiny pumpkin tarts in the guild kitchen ). This week we are joined by special guests Jehdai who is here to talk to us about AIE in GW2 Welcome!

Community
Last year Shimmeredge start a thread in the community forum asking “Are you Ok?” and the activity has started to pick up again. Please feel free to contribute and/or post in the thread. Our thoughts go out to El Huntero who just lost a family member in October and was looking for a wee bit of support and Tynchal’s wife, Brithael who is dealing with recently discovered cancer (get your annual examinations regardless of age and sex).

Reminder that this is Blizzcon week and the AIE Blizzcon Hall is available again this year. The Guild Hall will be open at exactly 8:00 AM on Friday November 6th and Saturday November 7th and will be closing down when one of the persons in charge falls asleep from exhaustion (but most likely before midnight Sunday.)

We’re fairly certain there will be a number of folks hanging out in game, in Mumble, and on Twitter discussing the news and contests, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities to participate in the discussion, make friends, or just hang back and listen to your guildmates discuss the nuances of each announcement.

With the EVE Vegas announcement, CCP has officially ruined everything, or just a few people’s social lives as they thought they’d escaped from the game.

Old Man Franks (Get off his lawn!) started a discussion thread in the forums asking which character they used their boost to 60 on and it’s lead to a lively discussion. Worried about picking the right character? As long as you don’t hit 61 with the newly created character, you can delete it and the next character you create will have that option again.

Not to be outdone, this year Wildstar has a great halloween event going on, Shade’s eve until tomorrow, November 2nd! If you haven’t gotten your quests done and your super fun outdoor raid finished, now’s your last chance!
