The AIE Podcast needs you! That’s right Let us know what you think sets AIE apart from other gaming communities or guilds you have been a part of in the past. It can be as simple as finishing the sentence “AIE is awesome because ____” or sending us a personalized story. You can email us, tweet us, or send in an MP3 of your answer, what makes AIE stand apart!
Apolas wanted to let everyone know: The Summer Festival in Lotro as started on the 24th of July and will last until August 6th. Activities will include: Keg races (drinking contest), Taste of Hobbiton (speed eating contest), horse races, fishing challenges, scavenger hunts, Ale association vs Inn league and finally dancing. More details available on the LOTRO website
Everyone knows the voice of Sihx, that does the Raid Wrapup, but it turns out, he can’t do the Wrapup without your help! He’s posted a new thread in the forms here. All submissions are due by next Wed, July 31 and can be submitted via the thread or by emailing aieraidwrapup@gmail.com. You can also tweet @epicdiapers for questions, comments, bumper suggestions or to get his kickin’ chili recipe.
Emperor Pel-patine is stirring up some trouble as usual, and without giving TOO much away, I’ve seen some of the planning on the officer forums for this event and it looks AWESOME. Check out his cryptic post on the forums and watch it for more details as they develop! This is one you don’t want to miss. Remember, SW:TOR is one of our many Free-to-Play games.
The AIE Summer of Love starts in in four days, and it’s not too late for you to get involved! Believe it or not, most of AIE’s awesome events are held by members, not officers! So if there’s an idea you have had that you think will be great fun, or if you want to volunteer your time, head on over to the summer of love thread in the forums and check it out! Currently we have a running of the trolls planned and a COOP run!
Did you know we have a meetup.com website? Why would we do such a crazy thing? Well it helps plan events across a guild as large and awesome as we are! Like the upcoming SF raid on Harry’s Hofbrau this sunday! Come on over and plan your own events to meet with the awesomeness that is AIE in real life!
