Marcus and Nick chat with fellow AIE officer Fezgig about AIE’s Where to Start event coming up June 27th and 28th! The event’s goal is to walk new players through getting started in the guild’s favorite games. Listen in for details!
NOMADS
Destiny 2
The next expansion, “Beyond the Light” arrives on 22nd September.
Details at https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Destiny/BeyondLight
No Destiny 3 soon, instead devs will be transforming Destiny 2. Read more about “Building a Viable Future in Destiny 2” at https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/49189
That’s the Destiny buzz to be sure. Restructure of the game content is coming to fix some progression issues and better structure the game for future expansions.
Our AIE Destiny crew is excited in general and a handful of people have jumped back in recent and are checking out gear updates, etc.
Anyone interested should jump in that Destiny channel and say hi. The Clan is still open for invites as well.
There’s over 90 accounts attached to the clan right now but we can make room as needed too.
Diablo III
PTR has ended. Patch 2.6.9 should be live soon.
Division 2
Title Update 10 is due on 16th June. Details at https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/the-division/the-division-2/news-updates/157QiTvKizohEweybOO8F9/title-update-10-to-release-june-16th
Season 2 to start 23rd June, new raid on 30th June.
WoW
Noob Raid is still running 2 groups every Saturday night. We generally get 5/10 bosses down and last night Noob Raid Prime killed Ra-den for the first time. Also thank you to Gijora for being our tactician and to Sy for leading Noob Raid Alpha since Dankinia leaves being in two raids at the same time to Gi.
WoW Classic
Scoop out a little time from your schedule, and level up with us in WoW Classic!
Whether you’re just starting out and sprinkling through starter quests,
or adding the cherry on top of a max level 60…
Everyone is invited to join us for an old fashioned social hour in game and Discord! 🙂
Vanilla Sundae Fundays begin this Sunday, June 21st at 2pm Server Time, and every Sunday after!
And if you’re part of AIE in WoW Classic and are interested in raiding with our friends from United Orgrimmar on Sunday evenings, please contact Chrisi or Deadkrumpet!
They can answer any questions you might have about raiding, attunement, or gearing up in general. We have had eight AIE guildies raid with United Orgrimmar to take on Molten Core!
SWTOR
Things are ticking along in swtor this month. Ops teams are opsing, MFN is MFNing, MEGA continues to MEGA, and Friday night Master Mode Flashpoints is hitting its stride. June MEGA will be extra special this month as it is part of the AIE Streaming Event.
Near the end of the month, we will be getting The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. This event will take place on multiple planets and will include rewards of new mounts, outfits, titles, and pets. In this racing event, you have to impress the crowds, blow up things, and avoid snares.
We are also not-so-patiently waiting for word from Bioware about when the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife Event will return. It is likely to be in July–fingers crossed! Since we got a chance to see it on the public test server, we know that there are new missions and new rewards to achieve.
ESO
Greymoor is awesome and the antiquities system is still fun. The past few MFN’s have been focused on the new zone and next Friday’s MFN we will group up and run the two new public dungeons.
As part of the antiquities system in addition to treasure you can sell for gold and furnishings, you can get the very cool looking Ebon Dwarven Wolf Mount. The mount requires 17 different pieces and the lead for each piece drops in specific locations. Throughout the last week, people have been grouping up in discord to farm the leads together so if you are after the mount, feel free to request help in discord or guild chat or watch for others to say they are going on a farming run.
FFXIV
Map night continues every saturday at 9:30 pm eastern. Come help us look for lost treasure and explore the depths of FFXIV’s treasure dungeons! Send Kelseer a message if you want more information.
Goblin, the server that AIE is on, remains the only server in the Crystal Data Center in the preferred status. This means you will get the road to 70 buff, giving you a ridiculous XP bonus as you level a new character to level 70 on ANY job.
The next patch will be dropping soon, patch 5.3. We don’t have an exact date, but mid July is the current estimate. This patch will include the streamlining of the ARR questline. In the meantime, the super helpful AIE membership will be happy to help new players though the questlines and dungeons. Fun Nights are a great night to get this help, but there are helpful members online at all hours now to assist newer folks though their Main Story Questline.
In Raid news, there is a proposed schedule change to the NOD raid team. The poll is up on the raid discord. Don’t have access or want to join or even start up your own team? Ask Abovan or Durus for assistance. And remember, you do not need to be an officer in any capacity to organize your own raid team in AIE!
LOTRO
Fun was had in monster play last night. Look out for it to hit a regular rotation in the SNL lineup. There is a lot that is being planned in the near future so stay tuned to the lotro channel for what is coming. (if you don’t talk about it later in the show SNL will be cancelled on June 27th to keep the focus on the streaming event)
STO
Fleet night is still going well. We meet weekly at 8:30 PM Eastern. All are welcome.
Fleet holdings are progressing. We are still working on both Spire and Embassy projects.
There is currently an event campaign running, The No Win Scenario. This is the work towards getting a free Tier 6 ship or 1000 Lobi Crystals.
And with that, let’s get back to Marcus and Fezgig and find out what’s going on with the AIE Where to Start Event!.
