WoW
Gustytail is planning some guild events for Brewfest this week for the sausage eating contest. I know Friday at 8pm Eastern is Horde side. I’m not sure what day/time she decided on for Horde. The contest grants a 2 hour 10% Exp buff and if you win 5 times, you can buy a toy. The idea is to cheese win it like we do for trial of style. You need 4 people to sit down to start it.
It gives you a 3 min CD to do it again, so ideally we want 2-3 groups of four rotating in.
Noob Raid is doing well and is 6/8 on Palace and runs on Saturday nights at 11pm server (Eastern Time)
Patch 8.2.5 is launching on the 24th of September with the usual scheduled downtime from 7 am PDT to 3 pm PDT.
SWTOR
It’s been a quiet two weeks in SWTOR. The dev team has been working on getting Onslaught ready for its closeup on the 22nd of October. The Public Test Server will most likely be available this week for everyone to try out the new gear acquisition changes.
In the live game, The Grand Galactic Sale is going on. This is a Cartel Market event with a new sale announced each week. So, far we’ve had special deals on character transfers, character slots, color crystals and appearance options. This week’s sale will be announced on the 23rd (Monday).
New York Cantina will be on Oct 4th at Stitch. There will be an AIE contingent there and everyone is invited. You don’t have to be a swtor player! Drop into AIE discord to get more details on the when and where and come join in.
September MEGA will be on the 27th when Marcus will lead us on a mission to get the fabled Magenta light saber crystal. It’s a throwback to the day when there was not a lot of variety available in crystal colors and this was one of the only ways to get a magenta one. There will be camaraderie, trivia, and Rodian Mayo sandwiches for all! Well, camaraderie and trivia, anyway. And crystals.
FFXIV
Life in Hydaelyn continues. Weekly Eden Normal clears are still happening.
* We’ve started a learning group for Savage content on Thursday evenings when we’re not doing Extreme content. Bunbuns are still cute; Lalafell are still smol.
* Recent Live Letter (54) revealed details from upcoming patches including: raising level cap for Blue Mage to 60, new job quests, crafting and gathering systems rework that “increases easy of entry” and introduces some new UI layouts.
* The restoration of Ishgard, new community system called “Fellowships” that can have 1000 members though is a loose coalition of posting and LFG systems – not a chat channel.
* The “New Game+” system will be introduced that’ll let you revisit main scenario quests from Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers. A Realm Reborn and other storylines will come later.
* The new raid content with Neir Automata theme, “YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse” is also coming.
ESO
@Dankinia was out with IRL fun so this past Friday’s MFN was run by Thuggs. Shoutout to Thuggs for shepherding the group through a skyshard clear of Craglorn. MFNs continue on Friday nights… join!
Beyond that, the ESO group is eagerly awaiting Update 24 coming soon, which will be the conclusion of the chain of recent content updates all centered around the dragon theme. https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/56975

Lots of fun in STO continues with our Fleet and the STO MFNs on Sunday nights.
In a sad aside, Aaron Eisenberg, the actor from DS9 who played Nog, the Ferengi, passed away recently. He was a contributor to STO and a respected part of the Star Trek community.
EVE
War is over. We lost and are evaccing. But WoW Classic is pretty good.
GW2
WoW Classic continues to be good, though my old petitioning for a group skills are very rusty. GW2 has had the first episode of the new Living World season saga drop, to good reviews. Be sure to log into a toon so you can unlock the episode while it is still free. There is a party in the Charr lands, and you are invited!
There is new, at least theoretically, harder content that has been released called Strike Missions. The idea is to have harder open world content that can be used for an intro to raiding. Reactions so far are generally positive, but it appears to need tuning.
LOTRO
Last night’s raid in LOTRO went very well. We had enough people where we had an actual raid group. If anyone missed out on the raid and wants to run through the intro area let me know and I can group up with you and run you through the intro area. New race was on bullroarer ( lotro pts). Hopefully soon we can see Stout Axe Dwarves live

GAME NEWS
WoW Classic
Nevermore is heading up the AIE Craft Faire Project, she is working on a Google Docs Spreadsheet to keep track of the items that are needed, what levels you gain access to professions, and which recipes are needed for leveling vs. just nice to have.
For anyone that wants to help out, especially if you previously helped out in the retail Craft Faires please let Tetsemi and/or Nevermore know and we’ll get you in. Craft faire captains and/or gathers are most welcome.
Lars and Bhock are heading up the AIE Mount Project . Basically a rolling guild fund that will provide funds to be paid back to the guild for helping people get over the hump to get their mounts. The collection character is AIEMounts
Bhock and Girjira are heading up the AIE Raiding Project. A guild bank toon will take donations of crafted items for the raid teams and coordinating the formation of the 40 person raid team
We will be removing any character that hasn’t logged into the guild in over 14 days, we’re above 900+ characters now and need to make room by removing inactive characters. If you character gets removed, we can always add you back in, just hop into the AIE Discord #wow-classic channel or ask in the AIELFO channel in game.
