We are a new raiding group for Alea Iacta Est and are currenlty
seeking new members of AIE who are interested in doing Old-world
raids. Specifically Onyxia's Lair, Naxxramas, Molten Core, and Upper
Blackrock Spire. If you would be interested in joining our raid group
please PM Zoard. We have no gear requirements however we encourage u
to please be wearing at a couple rares. here is the current group

Who are the Night Owls?

The Night Owls are a casual raid group formed of members of the Alea
Iacta Est guild located on the Earthen Ring World of Warcraft server.
The Night Owls take their name from the fact that they commonly run
late night raids, convenient for both east coast late nighters and
people on the west coast. The core values of this group are to have
fun, be sensitive to real life concerns, and resolve group conflicts.

Monday Night Live!!! is forming.  We had an inaugural run on Monday 06-23-08
and are still working at establishing a regular roster.

I am the current raid leader (new to leading raids).

We will run on Monday nights 7pm east coast (server time).  And we'll be
running together ad hoc in order for members to get keyed for Kara.

We are still recruiting for another priest and another tank for main/off
tanking.

Raid Description

This is the raid that I (Rovinare) put together so that I can raid with some of my real life friends. The people of which I talk about are Forney, Skathe, Ladinhammer, and Garrudda. Hopefully to include in this list when they get geared 70 status would be Abuh, Trident, and hopefully Reckoner. Since the only day a week that the 5 of us could get together in common was Fri. nights, we decided that we would attempt some speed runs at Karazhan. I want to keep the guest list somewhat informal and have sign-ups each week. We have proven from our first week that we can be successful from making it to the Opera on our first run.

When

Friday Night, Invites start at 21:30 (9:30PM) server time and start at 22:00 (10:00PM) until we decide to stop.

We will be in need of multiple tanks, off tanks and healers. DPS are always welcome.

Reservations will be posted on the AIE raid forum. If members who reserve a slot are not available for the run then their slot will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Loot rules will be the following: Looting will be set to Master Loot and will be distributed according to WoW Loot site: http://www.wow-loot.com/raid_gruul.htm

If a piece of loot drops that can benefit your class and spec you will receive priority as per the site. If there are multiple classes or individuals that can use a piece a gear then a loot roll will be done with the piece going to the highest roll.

UPDATE!

Alternates and primary raid team members in the raid run have an equal chance to roll on loot.

The big change that we are doing is that if you roll and win on a piece of loot, we ask that you do not roll on another piece of loot for the rest of the run, this will allow for the opportunity to gear up a larger pool of people. This rule of course goes out the window if you are the only class available that can use a piece of loot even if you have already rolled and won.

Remember that this may be the first time that many people will have experienced a 25 person raid. We will wipe a lot, and after that, wipe out some more so make sure to bring your sense of humor.^^

SPB will follow a general schedule. We would like to start at 6pm Server Time. The ending time of each raid will depend on time constraints. I am a healer so we need another healer, 2 tanks and 6 dps. Once we get rolling, we will make adjustments to compensate. Any specific information, updates and announcements will be made in the guild raiding forums.

The first raid will be Saturday, April 19th at 6pm server time.

 The Over the Hill Gang is now raiding Karazhan.
